Malay Saurabh is a Co-Founder and Executive Director at Milk Blitz and a driving force that shaped the micro-dairy’s vision into a reality.

The quality of milk largely depends on the quality of the cattle feed, and Malay brings to the farm rich experience in animal husbandry and livestock feed. Among the many hats he wears at Milk Blitz, Malay makes sure that its operations meet the gold standard and set benchmarks for the industry in India.

Malay’s corporate experience extends across a wide range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, FMCG, hospitality, animal husbandry, and other rural businesses. He has worked as the Sales and Marketing Head with global and Indian corporates such as 3M, Dabur, the Rasna Group etc.

A few years ago, Malay decided to step away from the corporate world, to pursue something more meaningful. Milk Blitz offered him a unique blend of professional and personal fulfillment, allowing him to give back to society while staying connected to nature.

Shailesh Bisht is a Co-Founder and Executive Director at Milk Blitz, and has shaped the micro-dairy’s vision through his own superpower – crunching numbers.

A financial whiz, Shailesh is an astute banker and has worked in the banking industry for over 25 years, having served as Senior Vice-President in the Retail Branch Banking Division at Axis Bank. He is an IIM-Kozhikode alumnus with exposure in Strategic Management.

After thriving in the cut-and-thrust of the corporate world for over two decades, Shailesh decided to use his genius with numbers to work for the greater good. Milk Blitz gave him the chance to make a meaningful impact by driving positive change in communities and beyond.

Waseem is the Farm Manager at Milk Blitz and oversees the core functions of livestock management and the critical milking process

Only in his late 20s, Waseem is probably more qualified for the job than others twice his age, for he comes from a family of ‘gowalas’, Hindi for ‘professional milkers’. He therefore understands the business through ancestral pedigree. As a boy, Waseem learnt the traditional art of milking buffaloes on his family’s dairy farm. Now he brings this valuable expertise to Milk Blitz.

Waseem is driven by a zeal to revitalise his largely unorganised community, and Milk Blitz provides a platform to accomplish this. His ultimate goal is to set up efficient systems in micro-dairies, offer jobs to the Gowala community, and keep an age-old skill alive and thriving.
